I remember the first day I arrived at Far Eastern University, excited about starting my psychology degree, only to find the Manila campus so packed with students that I almost drowned. Admittedly, campus life was quite animated, ranging from fanatics shouting UAAP cheers to the mayhem of food stalls. Admittedly, the PE classes felt like taking part in a military program, and the wifi service was wanting. What stood out for me though was my coffee fueled unbreakable bond with friends as well as seemingly mundane things like waking up early so I could attend classes, no wonder my first day at work had me raving about my time there. I would think FEU annoys me? Not at all. Would I do it again? A hundred percent. All I needed was coffee and patience.

Fees were much lower during my time and the facilities were simpler than today. The programme before was amazing, especially for freshmen. We were allowed to explore our potential and helped us grow to be more independent. We were exposed to diverse cultures and people because technology during those times was very simple compared to today. When I passed by my former school, it is so well developed and they are offering new programmes. I am super proud of my school which is an another home away from home.
