Faculty is not getting enough compensation for the heavy workload. The administration seems to lack in response in the student and faculty’s concerns. The facilities are way too outdated. I strongly do not recommend enrolling in this university

I have always wanted to pursue a degree in a State University. I value the opportunity that PUP has given me, to broaden my horizons, go beyond my comfort zone, and be the best Iskolar I could be for myself, my family, and my country. “Fight with honor, CPSPA” is the motto of my college and it has been one of my mantras as an International Studies student. I loved the campus for being so open where individuality and collectivity is celebrated. People saw value and meaning in my craft unlike before, in high school, where administrators would only favor a student if they “have served the school’s interests.” Other than a drastic and much needed update on the facilities, I believe that PUP has been encouraging, embracing, and empowering.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines offers numerous programs that will surely help students grow and develop their skills beyond their chosen program. In my course all professors are equipped with proper knowledge about the course curriculum.

The student culture and community are active, diverse, as well as progressive towards their stance and initiatives addressing various social issues. The university administration, however, can do more in providing quality education such as, but not limited to, ensuring addressing teacher absenteism, better facilities, and delivering student services. Overall, the strength of the university can be mostly attributed to the community formed among students, while there are a lot more that the administration can do to providing a truly quality education.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) has become my home for learning about domestic and international affairs for the past 10 years. This university had opened my eyes to various social issues, which inspired me to take my course, International Studies. What I like about this university is how it opens various conversations on the most pressing issues while imparting to its students the desire to give back and serve the community. Lagi’t lagi para sa Bayan!

Polytechnic University of the Philippines is accounted for producing bar top-notchers through its rigorous, and high-quality education. My stay in this university didn’t only gave me the opportunity to understand the intricacies and dynamics of international relations, it has also been a pathway to render those learnings outside the classroom and towards the community. I can attest that you will leave this institution with evoked patriotism.
