I graduated from the Military College of Signals one of the oldest schools of NUST. The original purpose of the school was to train military engineers but later on, it was decided that civilian students would motivate the military students by giving them some tough competition.
In my opinion, although the thought was good implementation was poor. The unnecessary military restrictions for civilian students harm and hamper the studies of civilian students. Limited internet access, monitored network and little to no events allowed in the college is making the student life dull and boring

NUST Campus in Islamabad is a top-notch university with a wide range of programmes, facilities, and opportunities. It is located in a beautiful area near the Margalla Hills and has a vibrant and diverse student community. However, it also has a strict curfew timing for its hostels, which may not suit everyone’s lifestyle. NUST is not for the faint-hearted; it is a place for discipline and dedication.

NUST is one of the top class university of Pakistan. I provides a very advanced and technology oriented environment to the students enabling them to keep their knowledge and skills synchronized with the dynamic industrial environment. The tuition fee of the university is quite high but the personality development opportunities through on-campus curricular and extra-curricular activities make it worth.

In NUST, you will surely find elite student class of Pakistan but at the same time, you shouldn’t expect each and every student out here is out of the world. An entry test doesn’t prove anything regarding a person.

As far as my experience at NUST is concerned, it has been great due to the fact that I was able to witness other parts of Pakistan. As there is a famous saying, “Life is a book. People who don’t travel have read only one page of it”.

I really believe this quote. Living in this diverse atmosphere has surely brought a great deal of positivism to my personality.

My overall experience so far is great, I have grown a lot academically and as a person. My communication skills have imprived alot being at NUST. It has a positive impact upon my personality. I have learned how to deal with people from different backgrounds and mindsets.

NUST is rated amongst the world’s top 500 universities and its computer science program is one of the best in Pakistan as it combines world-class facilities with teachers vastly experienced in the field. The student life is amazing with an array of activities that include a bowling alley, skating rink, swimming pool, sports courts, etc.I would recommend NUST as the perfect university for any Pakistani or International Student/
