GCU offers a great balance of academics and campus life. As a BS Computer Science student, I found the teachers very supportive and nice, and seniors are always there to help. The university is improving its focus on technology and research with better labs and innovation opportunities. Overall, it’s a great place to learn and grow.
View moreMy experience at Government College University, Lahore, was truly amazing. Our Head of Department was very kind and dedicated. She taught us multiple subjects and personally made sure that every student was learning properly and understanding the material. There was also a strong focus on practical learning. One of my teachers, Ms. Amna Nawaz, guided us in applying theoretical knowledge to real-life experiments in developmental psychology, such as testing Piaget’s Cognitive Stages with children. This hands-on approach made the concepts much clearer and more meaningful.
Overall, the teachers at GCU were extremely polite, cooperative, and encouraged interactive learning. They always gave us the space to ask questions and discuss ideas freely. The university also had a diverse environment with international students from countries like Nigeria and Sri Lanka, which made the learning experience even more enriching. Moreover, the university societies played a great role in building our communication skills, confidence, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
It was a wonderful journey, and I’m truly proud to have been part of GC University, Lahore, and I highly recommend this.
View moreI have spent 4 years of my life here. This university is beyond amazing. From faculty members to department every thing is just perfect. Departments are well equipped with modern technology. Students are trained to learn practically. Big libraries brings literacy values. Festivals and outdoor activities were arranged on monthly basis to help students learn more a part from curriculum
View moreStudying at GCU was a very wonderful experience for me, i spent almost 8 year total in there for my graduation as well as for my Mphill. Some years were tough but some were fun as well but all those years were full of learnings and life lessons given by our respected mentors to us. Its a proud thing to be a Ravian.
View moreI have graduated from a very competitive public university in city. Every year, thousands of students rush towards getting admission leaving them astry of dark reality inside. While I know there are some loopholes in every education sector but here I am talking about my experience with the higher education sector. To begin with, financial and funding is crucial in making an ideal system. Most of the funding goes to rennovation projects and very less in the growth of students. There is not much scholarship and stipend available that students could avail results in losing potential students. Less number of departments with least focus on STEM programs, unequal distribution of funds to departments, once you get inside only you deal with is confusion and uncertainty. There is an age limit set to get higher education which is why students rush to get admit right after year 12, without thorough thinking. To sum up, we are much needed to change our mindset rather than focusing on changing structure. At the end of the day, it’s mind which brings change not expensive walls.
