The University of Uyo offers a safe and secure environment for learning, free from cultism, and I appreciate its strict stance against indecent dressing, which promotes discipline. However, management’s approach to implementing policies can sometimes feel abrupt and poorly communicated, leaving students unprepared for changes that directly affect them.

The University of Uyo has strong academic programs in the sciences, engineering, law, and medicine. Several independent organizations have ranked The university among the top universities in Nigeria. It has a vibrant and friendly student environment.

I will recommend the University of Uyo to any Prospective student.

University of Uyo is unlike other federal universities by far the best I’ve been to with easy assess to all educational requirements.
I liked the well-defined structure of the school premise and the lectures ability to managed students. I dislike the security in the school and I’d rate it 30% because more work needs to be done about it.
Yes I would recommend University of Uyo to anyone in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state and outside the state. It’s a really beautiful place to study.

The University of Uyo is a very good federal university. There is room for positive student interaction and socialization. The lecture halls are spacious and well ventilated. The accommodation is okay too although there is room for improvement.

It was an amazing program, unfortunately since it’s a federal university, it doesn’t get enough funding for school facilities to improve our learning hence this affects me greatly, as an accounting student I need to be able to use the computer to work out accounting problems but the computers provided are greatly limited, asides from this the teachers and lecturers are great even though a few are seeped into corruption, however that’s the reality we live in, my fellow students are great and I have no other complains
Uniuyo is amazing

The school has value for education. The lecturers try their best to impart knowledge to the students. The hostels need renovation and more infrastructures. Sometimes there are security threats especially at night.
