Abia state is located in uturu, a highly secluded village, tho peaceful but lacks proper accommodations for the students. The limited number of lodges makes rent expensive for the students to afford
The lecturers are genuinely making efforts to give quality education but tye school still faces infrastructural challenges, for instance the electricity supply is poor so we usually use diesel generators to power important facilities
A unique aspect of the campus that i really loved was the fact that it was surrounded by beautiful mountains which students climb for spiritual and recreational events, I personally climbed it for some recreational and sport events during my days in the Uturu campus
As a medical student, I enjoyed my time in the campus, with so much experiences enough to fill a big novel, to cut short here, but I’d soon be moving to the Aba campus to complete my studies in my field. Overall it is a school with commited staffs and good enviourment, but still has a long way to go in improving facilities for students.

My school, I can say is one of the best in Nigeria . They are disciplinarians and are eager to teach students . Though students do complain of their high fees, but all I can say is that am proud of ABSU

Though it is just my first year here, it is valid to say that, Abia state university is a fine institution housing various students studying different programs. It employs experienced teachers and makes available up to date textbooks for the students.
