Student review [#86643] for Education Studies and English
at University of Ilorin

I don’t think I would recommend this school to anyone as of now. I used to always bragged about my school because we were the only federal school that wasn’t a part of Asuu, but ever since they joined Asuu, the school changed and it wasn’t as good as it once was. Notwithstanding, I liked the fact that we had access to good places in campus. I enjoyed that I could take a walk at night and be safe. I can’t say much about the lecturers in every department, but the ones in my department weren’t so nice. This is probably a problem of every federal university in Nigeria. Another problem I had back then was the issue of transportation. I believe we had enough buses but for some reason, there were many times when the buses became scarce and students had to trek to class. I also loved our school song. I believe it was the best out there. Another good thing about the school was that we had a very fast calendar. We were competing with private and state schools. The school as a whole isn’t so bad but with a good government, the school can go back to it original form as being the best federal school out there.
