Hello! I study in the direction of “Applied Informatics” at the MSTU. N.E. Bauman at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, I finish the third year. That immediately I want to say – very responsive administration. If something has happened, the dean’s office can handle almost any problems (within reason and honestly, of course), and there they will understand and try to help. Student initiatives are supported, allocate audiences for events, try to find people to help. There is a laboratory in which teachers try to help students publish scientific articles, so that later it would be easier to enter the magistracy.
Education is good, teachers are trying to select, looking at the feedback from students. Learning to program – the first course is now taught the basics to pull everyone up to roughly the same level, and then immediately object-oriented programming. We have already passed a whole bunch of everything (databases, operating systems, web-technologies – in general, everything that is needed). By the way, and on the methods of decision support was the course (popular nowadays neural networks and their analogues in the theoretical form).
