Michael Okpara University is a prestigious university of Agriculture located in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.

I studied Agricultural Economics, and my experience there was educational, fun, and also had its challenges.

The school environment is cool, and lecturers are friendly and always ready to attend to the needs of students.

Challenges include a high rate of transportation, few lecture halls, and a lack of learning equipment. Especially for Agricultural students.

But overall, it is a good university that I will recommend.

I dislike the fact there are less practicals for engineering compared to what is expected from the students. The school is big and wide, filled with the best and worst. I love the school for the examination processes and few quality lectures.

Michael okpara university of Agriculture, Umudike, is federal university, which a conducive learning environment, Accessable roads, conducive ICT centre, lecture Halls, and equipped lecturers who knows they are really doing. Won’t forget the outstanding administration of The formal Vice chancellor Prof Hillary Edoga for his indelible work performance, in and outside the university.
