My school environment can sometimes be very stressful for students. One of the major problems is that some of the lecturers are not very serious about their responsibilities. At times, lectures are not properly organized, and students do not always receive the guidance they need to understand their courses. This can make learning difficult and frustrating for many students who genuinely want to succeed academically.
Another issue is the way some students are treated. In some situations, students experience physical and emotional abuse from lecturers or school authorities. Instead of being encouraged and supported, students may be shouted at, insulted, or treated harshly. This kind of treatment creates fear and anxiety among students and makes the school environment uncomfortable.
There is also a concern about how results are marked. Many students feel that their results do not truly reflect the effort they put into their exams or assignments. Instead of fair marking, students sometimes receive poor grades or negative reviews that do not match their performance. This can be very discouraging and can affect students’ motivation to study hard.
Because of these issues, the school environment becomes stressful and difficult for students. A better learning environment should include supportive lecturers, fair treatment of students, and transparent grading systems so that students can learn and perform to the best of their ability.

Rivers State University is a State-of-the-art State Tertiary Institution that incorporates inclusive learning. That is, they go beyond the general Lecture-to-students teaching to bring in experts in the particular field of study for the students to gain real-world understanding of their chosen courses even before graduating.

I will recommend Rivers State University to anyone who wants to get hands-on teaching in their chosen field of study.

The university is nice, well disciplined and would give you your desired certificate.
The school helps shape and groom students into useful and successful youths. They also get their students ready for what the outside world has for them

Rivers State University is an incredible State tertiary institution that blends both theory and practical teachings to give students a hands-on experience of the courses they offer before advancing into the labour market. However, I recommend that these practical sessions start from 100 level so that students can get enough experience they need.

What stood out for me was our lecturers inviting industry-based gurus to give us practical lectures. Also, I enjoyed the career building and social events during the second semester. They are usually a big platform to learn while having fun and making great connections outside the classroom and hostels.
