University of Calabar (reviews)

Firstly, in the year I got admission into the university was when the they introduced “acceptance fee”. This is a payment that comes with no receipt or documents as proof of payment. I didn’t like it
Secondly, my department, Geography and environmental Science has her own blocks for administration and class rooms for students separately unlike other departments, I liked that.
I had experience of paying the university officials (sport department) extra money on demand to have me cleared during my final clearance, I didn’t like it.
I like the school environment, the lecturers are well trained though some of them request money in exchange for grades.
The university of Calabar is a great university

It is a federal university located in cross river state, Nigeria . It was established in 1975.It offers undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields including arts,science, education,social sciences, engineering,law, medicine and management sciences . The university has a diverse student body with students from different states of the country. There are different student bodies ,sports teams and religious organizations. The university of Calabar is a reputable institution with a strong focus on academic excellence

The institution helped shape my mind and build my intellect both academically and socially. I learned how to survive with and without academic qualifications and how to socialise effectively and adapt to an always changing dynamic society.

UNICAL provided an enriching learning experience that helped ingrain theoretical knowledge and furnished me with adequate practical information to be industry ready. It’s large and diverse student population coupled with a bubbling environment meant social interactions were excellent. I enjoyed my time there and really miss my awesome lecturers
