The university is prompt in their approach to the length of time students spend during their time in the school and the lecturers are friendly and the practical aspects for my department is top notch and students are encouraged to take their studies and finish as at when due. The laboratory needs refurbishment cox it has worn out over the years😫

I like the environment because it’s student friendly and not toxic. What I don’t like is that the school doesn’t not have enough classrooms, functioning laboratory, there are no departmental buildings, and the school policy is affecting students studies especially no school no examination

I would recommend rivers state university to any aspirant.
Generally, I believe that every achievement is demanding and at a point in time, can also be frustrating.
Rsu as it’s fondly called is not an exception to this gruesome experience, nevertheless, if you set out your heart to achieve your purpose of coming to the university, you’ll definitely scale through.
I’m of the strong opinion that nothing good comes easy, you just need to work hard and smart to get.
You’ll come across lots of distractions like the party goers, the bad boys, the big girls, the influencers and all. I’m not saying you shouldn’t party or cool off a little, no, after all all work and no play makes jack a dull boy.
Just always remember the primary purpose of being in the university, which I believe is to learn, grow, excel and attain a good degree

RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY IS ONE OF THE BEST UNIVERSITIES IN NIGERIA, WITH ONE OF THE FINEST INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER IN WEST AFRICA. STUDYING HERE AS A MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST HAS BEEN A GREAT AND INSPIRING JOURNEY FOR ME, I WANTED MEDICINE AS A COURSE AND I COULDN’T GET IT, PLYING THIS FIELD HAS OPENED ME UP TO GREATER POSSIBILITIES ABOUT LIFE AND MY PURPOSES ESPECIALLY THE BRILLIANCE OF MY LECTURERS AND THE LEARNING ATMOSPHERE, WHICH IS SO ENCOURAGING FOR STUDENTS. THEY SHOULD KEEP IMPROVING ON THEIR MODEL OF DELIVERY TO STUDENTS IN TERMS OF NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER LECTURE HALL, MODEL OF ASSESSMENT ETC. ON A GENERAL SCALE THEY ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR NEW STUDENTS FOR THEIR EXCELLENCE AND COMPETITIVENESS.

Although a state uni, it could pass for a private uni. RSU has about four campuses. The environment is lovely in each. The lectures are also wonderful and relate really well with the students.
The campus community is really engaging be it sports, fashion, politics.
They keep expanding due to the students population, but I wish they’d do it a bit faster to create more room to avoid class clashes. My experience so far has been wonderful I must say.

It’s not bad it’s manageable
I’ve learnt a lot and I’ve stressed myself a lot all for success at the end.
There are some available facilities too. The students and lecturers have an established relationship to an extent.

Rivers state university is actually a very decent institution with a good and serene environment, the accommodations are neat and in good condition. The professors here are equal to the task at hand and classes are impactful but the lecture halls are not spacious enough for everybody hence some cannot attend classes. The security in the school is also as good and effective, I’m enjoying the time here and I would most definitely recommend it.
