One major likeness I like about this university is the academic calendar, it is fast, doesn’t go unnecessary strikes and the lecturers try as much as possible to finish the syllabus before the end of the semester.

Good University but in an unfavourable environment,we are calling on the government and also the community leader to try and improve the standard of living of the students and indigene of Oye Ekiti.
The issues of price control,high rent,shortage of electricity, insecurity,high cost of transportation and so on.

My stay academic career in federal university oye ekiti was a good experience
And as we know, nothing good that does not also has the negative parts, the mode of teaching, tho strict, but it was worth it, experienced lectures, and good environment

However, one of the things I disliked about it during my set was that, we were more like used as experiments, how? Basically because we were like the 3rd intake of the University after creation, so it wasn’t much standard back then, so there were really underdevelopment aspects back then

As a student of FUOYE, I appreciated the university’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering a learning environment that encourages critical thinking. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, and the sociology program offered insightful courses that deepened my understanding of society and its complexities.

However, there are areas that need improvement. Administrative processes can be slow and inefficient, which sometimes affects students’ experiences negatively. Additionally, infrastructural challenges such as inadequate facilities and limited access to resources are concerns that need attention.

Would I recommend FUOYE? Yes, especially if you’re willing to make the most of the learning opportunities available and adapt to occasional challenges. It’s a place where you can grow academically and personally if you stay focused.
