It’s one of the best universities in Africa. The lecturers are the best, they make learning easy for students. The lecture halls are conducive for learning too. The school calendar is fast, if you’re studying a 4 year course, you wouldn’t spend up to 4 years before graduating from the university.

FUOYE is a federal public university in Nigeria, established in 2011 and now one of the country’s fastest-growing universities. 
It has two campuses (Oye-Ekiti and Ikole-Ekiti) with multiple faculties including Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture, Humanities, Management, Law, Pharmacy, and Medical Sciences. 
The motto is “Innovation and Character for National Transformation.”

FUOYE is highly sought after in Nigeria recently ranking as the 4th most preferred university by UTME applicants nationwide, showing rising popularity and academic appeal.

If you’re committed and make full use of the opportunities available, it’s one worth recommending — especially for students seeking quality federal education in Nigeria. 

FUOYE English and Literary Studies department has solid courses and some brilliant lecturers, but teaching happens in overcrowded, hot halls with poor facilities.
Library and Wi-Fi are almost useless, super-heavy reading load, and supervision can be frustrating.
Campus is beautiful but boring, hostels are terrible, constant power failure, and off-campus rent is high.
Portal crashes regularly, strikes stretched our 4-year course to almost 6 years.
Academically okay (7/10), but facilities and student life are poor (3-4/10).
Overall: good training, rough and stressful journey — 5/10.

I would recommend the school anytime, anyway.
From the campus to the lecturers, it was a good experience although not with all lecturers. My department has a complete lecturers for all courses. FUOYE is a good citadel for learning.
