I am a Christian, so I love that it provides an atmosphere to know God and grow in God. I also love that they also have structures that provides business knowledge to all, a certification course in leadership compulsory for all and a training in your final year that prepares you for life after school.
What I did not like though, was the improper way certain members of staff( non-teaching) handled students in a bid to keep up with the standard or perceived understanding of what the founder has communicated. It’s a school that builds discipline and tenacity in you, so you must be ready to swallow all that strictness and obey all rules fiercely for the greater good. Overall, I am grateful I schooled there, it made me a better person and graduates from my alma mater are greatly respected.
My stay at Covenant University was an amazing one, and there is no doubt that the learning environment, staffs and students led up to this wonderful experience. There was appropriate staff to student ratio, you could diversify into pursuing your hobbies even while learning by going for various competitions and programme. The staffs were quite open and welcoming to every and any question concerning the particular subject.
Above all, the God factor was pronounced more than other things, making us understand how important our spiritual life is. Also, you never have to worry about not having a social life because there’s a provision for that. They make available comedy shows, movie nights, dinner, gym sessions and the rest.
To sum it up, It is such a fun place to be.
