Seasoned lecturers, high standards when it comes to research, serene university environment. Highly recommended for any aspiring scholar. The staff and students are very encouraging and supportive. A clear effort is made to ensure that the uni experience is enjoyable for all. I found the environment to be calm, though this may be due to the fact that the university is located in a rural area. The lecturers are season professional and have a good connection with the students, each faculty might have its own problem lecturer but overall you’ll find there are really good ones.
I find the hostels to be old and quite musty during my time, although during my convocation they had begun building new modern hostels and that’s quite a relief. The food system is alright, there’s a cafeteria run by the school and the food is mid or just about average, there’s also private caterers on campus but they are not allowed to sell during the weekends, only the school kitchen runs.
The sports facility is quite poor, students make do with a field and a low quality basketball court. Those are the only two things sports related in the institution.
The academic standard is overall very good, the research part of the teachings are quite top class, overall it’s a relatively great school to attend if you’re not a fan of sports but I can guarantee your academics is in good hands.
