Babcock is a very interesting school, dare i say one of the best when it comes to education
This school has thought me how to balance my social life and academic life properly
There are a lot of event almost every week and i can’t lie it’s fun
the only thing i dislike is the dress code and eating tofu.
Babcock University is truly an amazing institution. Coming from a Christian background, I deeply appreciate the spiritual foundation the university upholds. Babcock carries a great responsibility not just academically, but morally and spiritually and they’ve handled it remarkably well. In my experience, it is a place that revives the soul. You don’t leave the same way you came in. The spiritual influence is real and transformative.
Academically, my journey through the Microbiology department was equally impactful. I remain grateful for the classes and the lecturers who poured so much into me. They were more than teachers they were like angels sent by God. From my first course adviser, Mr. Osopale (before he traveled), to Mrs. Isijola, and finally to my project supervisor, Mrs. Mensah, each one played a vital role in shaping my path and helping me grow.
Microbiology is a broad and complex field, but to future students: whether or not you come in with a clear sense of direction, Babcock University will provide the vision and guidance you need. You’ll discover not only who you are but also the essential tools and values required to thrive in your journey.
I highly recommend
Learning in my institution has been both tough and enjoyable. We have strict class schedules with dedicated lecturers and professors. We’ve been taught to carry out independent research after every class to build our knowledge on our courses. Team work is also encouraged with the implementation of group assignments and activities.
View moreI had a great time at Babcock Education. I liked the fact that the lecturers were willing to spend time explaining different topics to students during and after classes. I liked the social events and sports activities that were organised regularly on campus.
However, I disliked the food that was served in the cafeteria.
As a returning Master’s Student of Babcock University, my experience was pretty much cool than my undergraduate years. I found the lecturers more accommodating, respectful and flexible with some of them going as far to mention that “We are now colleagues”. Others would do their best to support you in performing excellently throughout the duration of your learning.
The school runs a Student Evaluation/Rating form for Lecturers at the end of the semester so, unlike most Nigerian Universities, lecturers are actually motivated to perform well.
Accommodation for Postgraduate students is also great- 4 in a room or you could pay higher for 2 in a room, if desired. You just have to plan to resume early otherwise spaces would be filled but there is room for temporary accommodation as well.
Be prepared to study hard and to also take some general courses that may start at 7am (phew).
Overall, Babcock University offers a great blend of social and educational activities in an ambient, religious environment.
All the best in your applications.
Babcock university is a leading institution located in Ogun state, Nigeria. It is owned be the Seventh Day Adventist Church, with over 10,000 students. Study experience in Babcock was excellent because of the serene environment, the lecturers are friendly and easy to communicate with. Studying Anatomy for me in Babcock was a wonderful experience because the practical based aspect of the course was well organized.
