I like Lautech because of the out-campus accommodation and free decision making from individual students, however there’s no strict law implementation and that results to students violence within the campus and zero security. The classes are very okay and the professors are good with their job.
View moreLAUTECH is one of Nigeria’s top state universities, especially strong in tech and science programs. It has skilled lecturers and a good academic reputation, but like many public schools, it faces challenges like strikes, limited facilities, and theory-heavy teaching. Student life is active and offers lots of networking opportunities, but you’ll need to be proactive to gain hands-on experience and stay focused when there are disruptions. Overall, it’s a solid school if you’re ready to push yourself beyond the classroom
View moreI am a student of Ladoke Akintola University of technology and in my time of studying here the school won the title of best state University in Nigeria over and over, it’s also of the most populated state University. My thought about this school is that despite all the bad reviews it has gotten in the past and may still be getting it’s gives us something that most won’t give and that is a resilient spirit cause it pushes you to your breaking point, if you see any alumni of this know they have gone, seen and conquered.
View moreLautech is a good school it shaped me. And helped me to understand myself the more. I was disciplined thoroughly spiritually, mentally and emotionally. I was taught how to wake early and make sure I’m the best of myself. Thank you Lautech.
View moreThe university is one of the top universities in Nigeria. The university basically because of the way they prioritize practical sessions after the normal theories taught in class.
Also, about the professors at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, they are the ones who are ready to impart and groom students who are interested in research amd mentor them to become great researcher like themselves and beyond.
The only thing I’m not really pleased about as concerned the school, is the absence of hostel accommodation on campus currently. Aside that, campus life is an interesting one there.
View moreThe university is a great one, but the place of larger number of student using a venue to study does not make sense. I hope they have changed. The should only take in number of students they have resources for, for each departments and levels.

My experience at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology was both enriching and transformative. The institution gave me a strong academic foundation, especially in the medical laboratory sciences, both in theoretical aspect and practical training. The vibrant campus life, lecturers, and exposure to research opportunities helped shape my professional outlook and work ethic. Though there were challenges along the way, they strengthened my adaptability, qualities that continue to guide me presently.
What I Like About the School:
Strong academic curriculum, particularly in science and technology disciplines.
Dedicated and knowledgeable lecturers.
Opportunities for practical, hand on laboratory experience.
A vibrant and collaborative student community.
Exposure to research and innovation at the undergraduate level.
What I Dislike About the School:
Frequent academic calendar disruptions due to strikes.
Limited access to some modern laboratory equipment.
My Opinion About My University :
Ladoke Akintola University of Technology is a commendable institution that prepares students well for professional and academic success, particularly in science and technology fields. While there are areas for improvement, especially regarding infrastructure and administrative efficiency. The quality of education and the resilience it instills in its graduates are undeniable. I am proud to be an alumnus and look forward to contributing to its future growth and representation.
Lautech is a home of excellence and discipline, you get taught morally and academically. Also a fast academic year with your education well structured. Seven years in lautech and it was a journey of sweet and bitterness, which is normal as a student life. There are times you get frustrated by early classes and late evening classes but they are training one for the future.
View moreMy experience at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria where I studied Food Science and Technology at the Faculty of Engineering is one of the best program I have ever being through, it is filled with practical experience in relationship to my field of study.
I was taught how to produce new food products with little or no supervision. I was also able to realize myself in terms of how to study to obtain maximum credit.
The loop side of it is that it was stressful studying with few lecture halls during my schooling days but now there are more lecture halls
It’s a good school, arguably one of the best state university if not the best! I dislike the Nigeria factor in her, which is poor funding of our educational sector, leading to lack of key learning facilities, etc. Yes! I would recommend it.
