However, this strength is often tested by the institution’s major challenge: insufficient infrastructure. You will become an expert at adapting, as frequent power outages, sporadic internet access, and sometimes outdated or limited lab equipment are a reality. Navigating these hurdles builds a unique kind of grit and resourcefulness.
The campus life is what you make of it. The main Gidan Kwano campus is vast and modern but located far from the city center, which can feel isolating. Social life is mostly within the campus community.

FUTMinna’s Computer Engineering program is not for the faint-hearted. It demands self-teaching, patience, and a proactive attitude. View moreI would say the learning environment makes you adapt to challenges and increases your problem-solving skills; that is if you’re up to the task.
Also, the people you meet are from several spheres of life so you get to learn about life as well not just about education.
I enjoyed my stay in the school during my academic pursue but most of all I love the sporting environment. The school organizes inter-department sport where departments compete to win trophies in different sport. It is always exciting. The tiring routine is the fact that we have to board bus every morning for lecture which has now been brought closer. I’ll recommend this school to anyone
View moreThe University has a very conducive learning atmosphere, owing to its world-class laboratory facilities in all ten faculties, which cater to both local and international students. It also has excellent sporting and gym equipment to ensure that both staff and students keep their bodies and minds fit.
As a graduate of computer engineering, I would like to praise the excellent members of staff for their time and dedication to developing students on a one-on-one basis.
However, the hostel environment is nothing to write home about, as students are jammed into poorly ventilated rooms. I would recommend the school authorities create a conducive hostel environment for students to live in.
