UNiLAG is a great university. The choice of most Nigerians but it has it’s flaws. It provides a comfortable and flexible learning environment, the lecturer are expert in their areas of teaching.
Its flaws…..the school has a lot of students but not very much hostels, so we’re always a lot in a room(15/18), which is not so good. I feel like there should be improvement in the sport sectors, the school is doing it’s bit tho but we have a lot of sports men/women who would like to pursue their career even further. School life is not very enjoyable for students whose parents don’t have much(e g. Me!)
But in general it’s a great school

I liked that UNILAG was a renowned school in Nigeria and Africa. It is known for fostering exchange programmes with other countries aboard. It seeks to be the university of first choice. It is highly competitive and you have to give your best to come up with top grades. It presents many opportunities for growth and learning.

What I did not like about the university was too much bureaucracy and paper work often associated with some processes that could be simplified and made electronic. Some payments that had to be paid for in cash instead of electronic transfers which gave me the impression something was amiss especially at the school of postgraduate studies and some outdated laboratory equipment at the engineering departments that needed updating.

UNILAG has a plethora of extra and co-curricular activities to engage students outside of the classroom. The university is rated as the largest youth entrepreneurship hub in nation due to these activities.
There are start up incubators and accelerators like the UNILAG Entrepreneurship Centre and Digital skills training centres like Nit-Hub, Design Studio, Centre for Information and Technology and the AI and Robotics Lab. These centres are in collaboration with the government and companies to improve employability and career prospects for students in a digital age and a growing economy.

UNILAG is also in a collaborative partnership with Auto manufacturer NORD motors to train engineering students across various fields.

The lecturers were good a sharing knowledege.They took out their time to explain courses and concept.Environment is very condusive .Project work were handled by professionals in the filed of study.Co students were open to group discussions

University of Lagos is located in one of the major cities in Nigeria. When I studied there, I was exposed to diverse ways of life and religions. The relationship students had with each other was superb.

Beautiful and welcoming environment, I love the warmth there. The university of Lagos is outstanding for it educational prowess. The professors are well learned in their respective fields. Also accomodations really needs to be worked on

The lecturers are easy to access by the students during lecture hours and before lecture hours and the lecturers guide the students probably in other to bring out the best in them. The lectures are very qualified.

The school has both its perks and its many bad sides. I’d be emphasizing on the opportunity the school gives you to meet very interesting people from a wide variety of ethnicity with different backgrounds, sociocultural values and great minds.
You’re basically buying into a “cult” of some sort, you’re buying into a class once you get into Unilag; a class of folks that would go on to become globally influential irrespective of the sphere they find themselves and independent of their background.
