As a graduate of Industrial and Labour Relations at Olabisi Onabanjo University, I found the four-year program exceptionally comprehensive and transformative. The curriculum’s multidisciplinary approach brilliantly integrated human resource management with sociological, psychological, and economic perspectives, distinguishing it from traditional HR programs. Faculty created an inclusive learning environment, consistently connecting theoretical concepts to real-world workplace scenarios through case studies and industry guest lectures. The program’s practical orientation, including industrial attachments and emphasis on labor relations, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution, thoroughly prepared me for modern HR challenges. At graduation, I possessed analytical thinking, communication skills, and data-driven decision-making capabilities essential for effective human resource management in Nigeria’s dynamic industrial landscape.
