at Lagos State University - LASU

I’ve not had a lot of university experience, as I started in LASU a year ago, and I’m in my third year presently. Other hand, LASU has really equipped me with so much knowledge and experience already. My programme, Mass communication doesn’t only deal with the theory aspect, the management is very technical too, and we’re urged to learn practice and skill. This has brought about so many elevating and outstanding activities, that not only surround the classroom teaching aspects, but also extra curricular activities, like being creatives in our field/industry. Journalism is more of a science than an art, as it deals with principles, and this has giving me more light on different aspects of school and academics too in LASU.
LASU is equipping, and it’s also a space for self teaching/learning. The methods of doing things here are already grounded and established, and are quite In the favour of those who capitalize on them.

The facilities are not top standard, but are quite in the level where, once they are leveraged upon, they are of adequate use. So is the teaching methods adopted. Nothing substitutes high standard learning environment, but just as this, the service provided in LASU are good enough to produce fruitful academic learning and stepping stone to establishment in whatever career or field.

In essence, I’m finding good favour with the services my programme in LASU is presently providing.
