University of Jos is a Federal Government institution that consist of about 10 different faculties. Here are the few things I dislike about this university; 1. The school calendar is very disorganised and slow, 2. The location of the campuses is not well situated, and 3. They impose some irrelevant policies on the students. Aside these points, I would still recommend this university.

My University experience was pivotal in creating the man that I am right now. The University of Jos is located in a very special place. It is the most liberal school in the northern part of Nigeria. This means that great ideas were allowed to flourish. However, it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshines there. I remeber being frustrated by the registration process. I was also not happy with the accomodation arrangements at the time. The good thing is that this isn’t a problem anymore because larger and better hostels have been built since I graduated.
I would happily reccomend University of Jos to aspiring students. They will be challenged intellectually and have the freedom of expression.
