The University of Ibadan has always been rated the top school in Nigeria, and no doubt, the school has been maintaining the standard. The academic environment is very conducive to learning. Lecturers are accommodating and also make learning very easy. The course of study also fulfilled all expectations. I like the fact that lecturers ensured all learning outcomes are met and also made learning very easy for the students. Although, there were some deficiencies too. I wish the school has enough halls of residence, especially for female students. I will highly recommend the school to anyone planning to study in Nigeria.
View moreThe lecturers for the most part were great, some more engaging than others. The major issue I had was a lack of equipment and facilities. This meant ideas had to be limited to what current equipment was capable of handling.
View moreThe school, being the first in the country, maintains a high standard for teaching and research. The teacher are of various backgrounds and experiences from different countries and tribes which brings diversity into the program
View moreThe program, classes, teachers and the school in general was awesome. I enjoyed every part of my program on campus and the lecturers were friendly, they really made learning so easy but tasking. The lecturers are disciplined and they have the heart of students in them. The school environment is conducive for learning.
The thing I didn’t like on campus was strike.
The school can improve in their teaching skills by encouraging more of practical training than the theoretical ones, and also improve in their security level both on campus and outside.
My student life was really the best because I never had any means of regret, I enjoyed every moment, friendship, christian life and every activities I was privileged to be involved in while on campus. It was just the best for me because I got God more.
I can recommend my school to anybody at anytime anyday and have actually being doing that especially for my juniors.
The school is actually international because people leaving outside the country do come to even study in my school and our degrees can be use all over the world.
There is actually a career prospects for anyone in my school it depends on such individual discovering his or her purpose and channeling the career in the fulfilment of such purpose.
I would recommend the school to other people. The school is international, as most of the lecturers have papers cited internationally. Life as a student is above average. Career prospects are impressive.
View moreWell, it was overall not bad. Just unnecessarily stressful. We marathon exams and all. We will write exams every day of the week till we are done when the exams can be properly spaced to allow for rest and proper study. The practicals sometimes run too long. There’s no proper provision for students to participate in extracurricular activities even sports.
View moreThe program was challenging and really life-changing. It had a competitive vibe about it because of the high standards set by the lecturers and fellow students. I enjoyed the learning environment although this can be improved upon. Most of the lecturers were diligent and took training students personally. More modern infrastructure can be provided in the laboratories and even lecture halls to improve the quality of learning. Students who are looking to enrol in this institution can do so with relaxed mind as they won’t regret it. They should be wary though that the school can be slow in completing its programs due to a plethora of reasons. This should also be looked into by relevant authorities of the school.
View moreBest University in the country by a mile. Save for strike actions that unnecessarily extend stay in the school, it is world-class. I’d recommend it to anyone once ASUU sorts their issue out with the federal government.
View moreI loved how the program was well structured and how every lecturer was eager and always ready to help their students to learn and pass efficiently. The school is really a citadel that would model you on the right moral characters and learning. The school environment is quite peaceful and serene with an effective security detail. They have good accommodation for international students
View moreThe school provided a conducive environment for students in different career paths. The lecturers were very approachable and they were very intentional about our growth in our chosen career paths. The classes were interesting and highly impactful. The classes I enjoyed the most were the practical classes that were taken in our laboratories. What I didn’t like about the school was the frequent strike actions by the Academic Staff Union of Universities. I had a very good experience during my stay at UI. There were many activities to help students become better individuals socially, educationally, emotionally and financially. The University of Ibadan is internationally recognized. I have great career prospects in the pharmacy profession. I finished in the pharmacy department at the University of Ibadan. I couldn’t have chosen better. I am a better person than I used to be since I graduated from the University of Ibadan.
