I would recommend it cos the education system is quite thorough.
However, it’s a federal university, so you tend to spend more years obtaining your degree than usual.
The strikes are the only reason I wouldn’t recommend. But it’s a great university overall.

I’m very delighted to have been a student of University of Ibadan. The school has a lot of programmes to choose from and also has the best lecturers and professors who teach them too. Facilities are well equipped and also are of high standards. Accommodation are very good too.

The University of Ibadan (UI) is a great university per excellence. I am studying Biomedical Engineering at masters’ degree level, and my experience has been great. UI is the best option when it comes to serious research in any field or course you want to take. I would recommend this university if you are a serious student looking forward to undertaking serious research because they admit more postgraduate students from all walks of life. In my field, I had a lot of international support from people who were willing to offer you grants to support your research. Their lectures are friendly and always ready to support you on your successful journey.

The University of Ibadan is an outstanding and well-structured university in Nigeria. One thing that attracted me to this university is their level of research and how seriously they take it. Excellent educational institution with a calm, pleasant setting. For my programme, the career prospects are excellent. The lodging is generally acceptable and decent. The faculty at the university is friendly.

This very thing that got me interested as I stepped into the school gate I was stopped immediately by the securities and I was thoroughly search,that simply means that the property and the students are save plus the serene environment.

I can say my 4yrs at university of Ibadan was really a great and superb experience. State of the art buildings and well built laboratories. And moreover, decent and sound lecturers who give their best to impact the right education and also value to their students.
