I particularly like its diverse programs, vibrant student culture, and the dedication of many of its lecturers.

However, some challenges such as outdated infrastructure, inconsistent academic calendars due to strikes, and occasional overcrowding can be drawbacks. Despite these, the university offers a solid educational foundation and a broad alumni network, which are valuable assets.

I would recommend UNN to prospective students, especially those looking for a reputable institution in Nigeria, while advising them to be prepared for potential challenges typical of many public universities in the country.

I love everything about my program at the university of Nigeria. The B.Pharm was quite exciting as it provided a lot of wild spread knowledge base not restricted to Pharmacy alone but cut across all areas

The pharmaceutical journey was quite eventful, always grateful for the knowledge acquired. Although full of ups and downs, it was all worth it. The method of teaching was basically more of, “La cram, la pour”, which wasn’t advisable. But most especially a factor of critical questioning is with regards to the practical aspect, more equipment usage to aid better project results including better teaching techniques to aid better understanding.

UNN in my opinion is very particular about education. My department (Pharmacy) has a very good learning environment and is very well equipped too for practicals. Some of the lecturers are really warm and most of them go out of their way for you to learn despite late salary payments and low salaries too. In all, I enjoyed the school and enjoyed making friends too. But they could improve the general school environment, hostels especially because they are terrible and some departments are really not as opportune as ours. Would I recommend my school? Definitely, if you are looking for a place to study hard and graduate with good grades. But social wise, it’s a dead end.
