It’s a decent school. Although the School is run by highly untrustworthy people and funds are often misused, it remains one of the best Universities in the country. Calabar is a beautiful city and it has wonderful people. Despite the school’s limitations, it’s still a good institution. I may sound a bit biased because I’m from the area but I’d recommend it to my friends surely.
View moreThe programme is not really up there with the others though, it’s decent. The lecturers are okay. Students accomodations is bad, lectures halls are always filled. The environment is decent to some level.
View moreWith how long the school has been in existence, there should be better facilities for students and accomodations for students. Lecturers do as they please, no regard for the students. School payments are mad hectic
View moreStudying mathematics at the University of Calabar has always been a great opportunity for me. Where you have lectures who are good and always ready in helping you out with any kind of academic problems you have, lectures that will discuss life in general and not just mathematics.
At first, studying mathematics wasn’t in my initial view but after coming across good lectures in my department I fell in love with the course and now I am in love with the course.
Apart from academics, they are good people and clean environment.
I would always recommend my school to anyone who’s looking forward to quality education.
