Well, university of Calabar for me was a rollercoaster, it had it’s ups and downs. Some days were frustrating while some days were fun. The lecturers there I had no problem with , surprisingly they were all so nice and easy to talk to. There in school I met two of my very close friends which I’m thankful for.

My university is a nice school with nice roads and nice VC ..I really won’t advise anyone to come to my school because of the stress 😂😂 is too much time tables are not really arranged, things being expensive. My advice is for the VC to talk her time and listen to students

My department is a nice department, we have nice lectures who are ready to go out of there way to make sure we understand what ever they’re teaching isn’t that amazing. The only problem they all have is delaying results which is really bad because it’s affecting Students they need to upload all the results for students to know there ground I mean
Writing carryover courses or not but apart from that I will recommend anybody to apply to my department.

Well, I’m a 300 Level student in unical been in school for like 4 years now (Lol) due to the asuu strike and all.
I’ve had a lot of memories and experiences in unical (some good, some bad. Lol).
So, there are quite some things I like about unical, the fact that not all the lecturers are frustrating ( lol ), there are some really nice lecturers that are after the betterment of the student.
I like that they are a lot of relaxation spots to clear your mind and have some alone time.
I also like that they are a lot of food spots too ( lol).
Though there aren’t lots of facilities in unical, there are a few, which are very helpful.
Unical also encourages entrepreneurial skills that’s why we do the Entrepreneurship course for 3 levels.
Meanwhile, I also dislike some things too.
The fact that I have to trek a lot, it’s so tiring, the distance from one lecture venue to the other is really something, imo.

The program is supposed to be very practical one but lack of facilities and equipments are serious downplay to the course. Alot of the professors are very nonchalant and at times don’t turn up to classes. The student’s accomodations are in terrible states and it’s also limited. I wouldn’t recommend, I’m just here because I have no choice

It’s been so long since I have started my journey and still not able to finish yet, due to the continuous breaks and strike actions of the school and nation at large it has been quite the struggle with studying in a public school so far. I wish for the best soon though and a positive change

The program is lovely, most of the lectures are not held, and the lecturers act like their being forced to do the job, they come whenever they want and teach whenever they like.
Practicals are hardly held, exams timetable comes really late
