To begin with, a lot of activities happens in the school, more of which focus less on the academic intelligence of the students. As a result of this, we have less students participating in non-academic activities
View moreUniversity of Calabar is ranked among the top schools in Nigeria with regards to their medical/ healthcare courses and I can it’s rightly so. Though like every other institution, there is always room for improvement
View moreMy university is a nice school with nice roads and nice VC ..I really won’t advise anyone to come to my school because of the stress 😂😂 is too much time tables are not really arranged, things being expensive. My advice is for the VC to talk her time and listen to students
View moreMy department is a nice department, we have nice lectures who are ready to go out of there way to make sure we understand what ever they’re teaching isn’t that amazing. The only problem they all have is delaying results which is really bad because it’s affecting Students they need to upload all the results for students to know there ground I mean
Writing carryover courses or not but apart from that I will recommend anybody to apply to my department.
The University of Calabar is enriched in its ability to make sure students are academically wise. They teach their students to be on top in all they do. Having the necessary facilities to put their students through their academic experience and engaging in excursions to boost their work experience, is why I like my school and I advise anyone looking for admission to come to my school.
View moreAs a graduate of the paramedical sciences, I will say the school makes an effort in providing state-of-the-art facilities for a successful practical learning process. Not perfect yet but making an effort to get there
View moreUnical strives to get the best out of it’s students by strictly following and excellent and up to date scheme of work, the lecturers are also academically sound and strive to impact knowledge. Nevertheless sometimes administrative processes might cause a hitch, like when lecture time and venue clashes. But generally, the school can be said to be doing well.
View moreThe college’s infrastructure is limited, but they have made the best use of the available space. There is an auditorium with a seating capacity of approximately 500 students. The course curriculum is very well structured, and the faculty is excellent. They understand and excel at what they teach.
View moreIf there is one thing I despise, it is the slow pace of things and how difficult it is to pay for school obligations. On the other side, I believe I value how open and free the school climate is.
And certainly, I would strongly recommend it; if you cannot afford a private school, you are welcome to attend Unical; the choice is entirely yours.
University of Calabar is really nothing to write home about, from the poor academic standards to the nonchalant instructors, everything is a mess. The accomodations are in bad conditions, I wouldn’t really recommend.
