It’s a very good technology school with great and intelligent lecturers. It’s definitely the best university of technology in the country without doubt. I like the fact that the lecturers are kind and ready to give out knowledge despite not being paid well. There are so many dislikes but the one that stands out for me is lack of teaching equipments especially when students wants to carry out physical practices and practicals. It is always so difficult because of lack of equipments. I will like to tell/recommend that government pays the salaries of the workers and lecturers in time. Also government should try and limit the numbers of years students use in the university. I think 4 years is enough to study engineering or any technology course at all. Thanks

As a current student at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, I have found the institution to be a dynamic environment that fosters both academic excellence and practical skills development. I appreciate the robust curriculum in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering, which is aligned with industry standards and prepares students effectively for real-world challenges. The campus facilities are well-maintained, and the faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable.

I particularly enjoy the opportunities for practical learning and research projects, which enrich my educational experience. However, like any institution, there are areas for improvement, such as enhancing campus infrastructure and expanding extracurricular opportunities.
Overall, based on my experience, I would certainly recommend FUTA to prospective students seeking a quality education in engineering and related fields.

I like the fact the school calender is fast
I like the relationship some of the lecturers have with the students
The available school accommodation has never been enough for all students
