The lectures at Ahmadu Bello University, a cosmopolitan institution with students from all across the nation, are overflowing, particularly in the male hostel halls and lecture halls at levels 100 and 200. The working circumstances for staff are bad despite the competent lecturers. paucity of tools for student research and practicals.
