University Hassan II of Casablanca is a mixed bag; like a code with both elegant solutions and messy patches. As a student in the MIP track at the Faculty of Science Ben M’Sick, I’ve seen both the strengths and the struggles firsthand.
On the positive side, the professors are knowledgeable, especially in technical fields like mathematics and IT. The courses provide a solid foundation, and the university’s affordability makes quality education accessible to many. The campus also has potential, with increasing efforts to modernize IT infrastructure.
However, bureaucracy can sometimes feel like an endless loop, and administrative processes need serious optimization. The equipment and facilities, especially in tech-related fields, could use an upgrade. Student clubs and extracurricular opportunities exist, but they need better organization and support.
Would I recommend it? If you’re resourceful, self-motivated, and willing to navigate some inefficiencies, yes. But if you expect a seamless, high-tech learning experience, you might be in for a challenge.
