Cadi Ayyad University is an impressive and vast institution with a very welcoming atmosphere. The academic side is actually really good; the professors are knowledgeable, and the environment motivates you to learn. However, the facilities could be better. The tables and seating in many classrooms are quite old and uncomfortable; they definitely need a fix to match the high level of education provided. Overall, it’s a nice place to study, but improving the infrastructure would make the student experience much better.

I studied in this university for five years. The teachers are okay. Some of them aren’t that great. Some of them are really old. They don’t hire young teachers, which is not in the advantage of students. Some teachers don’t come and they don’t even notify you, so you have to go to class and at the end the teacher is not there. The teaching is average for some teachers. Some teachers, they teach very well, but it’s not over 100% in all cases. The facilities are really, really bad. The campus is really bad. The infrastructure is really bad. There’s holes. There are like consequences of earthquakes still there. They only take care of green spaces. They don’t even take care of the classes. My experience at Université Cadi Ayyad (UCA) in Marrakech has been mixed. On the positive side, the university has a good academic reputation, especially in scientific fields, and I found several professors to be knowledgeable and approachable. The campus is large, with improving facilities and diverse programs, which makes it a good choice for many students.

However, there are also challenges. The administration can be slow to respond to students’ needs, and schedule or exam changes are not always communicated clearly. With such a large student population, classes can sometimes feel overcrowded, which makes it harder to get personalized attention.

Overall, I would recommend UCA for students who value solid academic training and are willing to navigate some bureaucratic and organizational difficulties. It is a good option in Morocco, but there is definitely room for improvement in student support and communication.
