The 2024/2025 academic year brings a reformed program, and while the changes are promising and make the curriculum more relevant, there are still issues to address. Many courses remain unrelated to our specializations, making them unnecessary for students. Additionally, there is a significant disconnect between the skills and profiles sought by companies in the job market and the expertise provided by the university’s programs. This gap is especially concerning given the rapid advancements in AI, which are reshaping numerous industries. Unfortunately, the lectures often fail to reflect current realities, leaving students underprepared for the evolving workforce. What’s more disheartening is the apparent lack of urgency or interest from those responsible for driving meaningful improvements to address these challenges.
