As a student at the International University, I can’t help but feel disappointed by the lack of basic facilities that would make our academic experience more comfortable and productive. While the university prides itself on being “international,” the on-campus resources don’t reflect that standard.

There are very few quiet, well-equipped study areas, and the existing ones are often overcrowded or poorly maintained. Comfortable seating, sufficient charging outlets, and reliable Wi-Fi are either missing or inconsistent. Additionally, there’s a noticeable lack of common areas where students can relax or collaborate on group work without distractions.

A university should be more than just classrooms—it should support students’ well-being and academic success. Unfortunately, the current environment makes it harder to focus, engage, and truly benefit from our education. I hope the administration seriously considers investing in better infrastructure and student-centered spaces. We deserve a campus that meets our needs.

I appreciate the modern infrastructure, diverse community, and international partnerships that provide valuable global exposure. The university focuses on professional development, offering internships and industry connections, with dynamic professors enhancing the learning experience. However, the high tuition fees, occasional administrative challenges, and somewhat limited campus life activities can be drawbacks. The academic workload is demanding, especially in certain programs, but it prepares students well for their careers. Overall, I would recommend UIR for students seeking a high-quality, internationally-oriented education, though the financial investment and rigor should be considered.
