How can you truly impact the lives of others? I believe one can possess the richest lifestyle, but without good health, life quality is inevitably diminished. This belief is what drove me to become a Doctor in General Medicine. My seven-year journey at the Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) shaped me profoundly, offering the ideal environment to pursue this calling.
UDEM prides itself on grounding students with strong human values, encouraging us to make decisions guided by professional ethics, and equipping us with the tools needed to reach our fullest potential. One aspect I found challenging was during the pandemic, for there was limited access to clinical practice. The program did it’s best effort to provide us with new learning experiences, such as funding it’s simulation laboraties for us to have a safe place to practice. Overall, this experience was transformative and rewarding.
If you are looking for a university that fosters both professional excellence and personal growth, I wholeheartedly recommend the Universidad de Monterrey.
