The first avant-garde university in Coahuila. I was touched by the newly inaugurated facilities and they had first class equipment. I had a base of teachers who were very prepared for my program and what the career of a dental surgeon was.
There were constantly conferences on the university list locally as well as in different parts of the country which opened up opportunities to travel and create more connections.
To date, it is still a very prestigious university where there are now even master’s degrees and doctorates.
View moreMy experience as a student in this institution in these 3 years has been both good and not-so-good.
It has an excellent location and that makes it easy for patients to attend and so we can practice more
I like that it is easy to get patients but at the same time, I don’t like the teachers’ way of teaching since they make us expose the students, basically, we (students) end up teaching ourselves.
About the school, some teachers do not have knowledge according to the subjects or there should be more options regarding the selection of teachers or dismiss those who no longer compete, I recommend that they should also add to the subjects topics or concepts related to what that is seen in the industry because many times when we come to an industry we do not know or struggle to understand things instead of paying for courses from organizations or there that better than adding them to the agendas
View moreThe faculty of systems is a very good option to study, since it has a very good infrastructure and there are very good professors. The bad thing that I see is the location since it is in arteaga.
View moreLa Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila is recognized for its variety of races in the state. As a student of the School of Plastic Arts Prof. Ruben Herrera, I recommend the university as there are more and more facilities for students, such as free school transportation, Campus of united faculties, sports support and their designated areas, teachers and trained teachers, with its individual semester evaluation, this in other universities, at least local, is less common than in UAdeC.
View moreThe university is one of the best in the city but depending on the Major you are completing and the school you are part of it could either be one of the best places to study in the north of mexico or simply a bad school (like mine, Psychology) where they don’t teach you a single thing.
As it happens with a lot of public schools in Mexico, you can have great teachers or no teachers at all. Or you can end up being teach by the administrative personnel of the school instead of actual teachers with masters or Doctorate degrees (there is a rule that all of the directors, deans and administrative directors should have at least one class per semester, which might be good for them to keep their feet in the ground but often they happen to be the worst teachers of the faculty)
The university has different career options, in my case, I study in the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, all the professors have a PhD, the courses are constantly updated. It is possible to go exchange to another city or country.
The University is inclusive, and there are different options in terms of artistic and sports activities. The negative of it is that the internal quotas of each faculty and university are increasing, which limits the possibility of being able to continue studying.
it is a good school, with good teachers at least in the faculty of systems if there are teachers prepared, as for the infrastructure of the university city lacks constructions so that it is of 5 stars
