The Technological Institute of Saltillo (Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo), also known as ITS, is higher education institution, which is located in the city of Saltillo, in Mexico. It was founded in July 1950 by President Miguel Alemán Valdez and has become an outstanding place for education. The establishment is a multicultural and multinational learning environment. The institute has had several name changes- it was established as Instituto Tecnológico de Coahuila. The Technological Institute of Saltillo offers various academic degrees at an undergraduate and graduate level in all kinds of fields of knowledge, but it it's primarily known for its excellent courses in Engineering, with specialization in disciplines, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and many more. The school places special value on training future leaders in the world of engineering. The academic staff is highly professional and eager to pass on their knowledge, insights, and wisdom in their chosen fields of expertise. The university has more than 55 years of experience in preparing students for high-level management positions in global and international companies and enterprises. Due to this fact, students come from near and far, from all around the world, to study at this terrific place of education. These days, the school is home to 3,600 students- which is a lot more than when it first opened its doors to 314 students. The community extended over the last few years. Graduates of Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo are well-equipped with the necessary skills and tools to become successful in their careers, and are highly employable, as proven by the large network of alumni. They usually find employment within a short period of time after graduating, due to the fantastic training they received at the institution. International students are welcome, most courses are in Spanish though, so that they should have a good level of Spanish before starting the course.
