As a student at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), I’ve found the academic environment to be enriching, particularly in courses related to Islamic studies and global perspectives. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, fostering a deep understanding of complex subjects. The campus is serene and conducive to study, with beautiful landscapes and ample facilities. However, there are areas for improvement, particularly in the availability of resources for non-Islamic disciplines. The diversity here is one of the university’s strengths, providing a global perspective on various issues. Socially, there are numerous clubs and activities, but the engagement can sometimes feel insular, focusing heavily on Islamic themes.
