The program is rich with all sorts of possibilities that would help you throughout your career and your life. It gives the students to show their talents and their potentials to make the best of themselves.
View moreUKIM – SS. Cyril and Methodius is one of the state universities in Macedonia. It has a lot of various faculties and offers a broad choice of courses and degrees for students. The university’s campus is spread across the whole capital Skopje. I study on the technical campus of the university and it is in a very good position and the campus itself is really great and modern-like. The professors are all with a lot of experience and they offer great knowledge and help all the time to the students. My experience so far is very good and I’m happy to study in this university.
View moreI especially like the opportunities for students to activate themselves in student NGOs dealing with all sorts of topics. The quality of the delivered lessons is pretty good, the best in the country, but when compared to international standards it is more like mediocre. The programs are usually directed to more general knowledge of the topics instead of very specific knowledge which can make you a specialist. Also, the facilities aren’t in the best shape but some of the laboratories are well equipped.
During these online times all of the faculties have adjusted in their own ways so there’s not much that can be said about the adjustment of the University as a whole.
View moreI am a student at the Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering and the situation there is not so impressing. First of all, the faculty doesn’t have own building, our lectures are taking place in rented buildings. Also, we have big troubles with the capacity of the classrooms, because we are often 100+ students on some lectures, and capacity of the room is for max 30 students.
View moreI like the educational process as a whole, the teachers are usually very good at their subjects, but of course, there are some shortcomings. The facilities aren’t really good in general, but they’ve made a good job prioritizing so the labs (at least at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering) are pretty well equipped.
View moreI generally like the university, or at least my faculty, but there are also plenty of things I don’t like. For example, I like the fact that there are a lot of non-mandatory subjects so you can build your curriculum the way you like, and the programmes for most of the subjects are good. However, some of the teachers don’t teach particularly well and things aren’t very organized overall. There are some good programming laboratory classrooms, but the faculty doesn’t have it’s own building and rents the facilities from the other technical faculties which can be a nuisance. Also, there is almost a complete lack of sports facilities and there is a generally well-supplied university library, but it is only free for first-year students and the books can’t be taken out of the place.
View moreWhen I enrolled in college, I honestly did not have some great expectations. My opinion on one side was not even writing down at all. Instead, I could go to an IT (IT) academy and learn a lot more in programming lessons in a short time than I would have learned in four years at a university.
For my happiness, a man who pointed out to me that the faculty is not only the lectures and the material that is being taught on the same, is found. IT IS MUCH MORE! In doing so, I am convinced that I am a member of different organizations (mainly in EESTEC).
By acting in a student organization (NOT WARNING!), You gain a lot of skills (communication, organization, practical work and getting to know all kinds of people …) that will contribute a lot to you as a person and further in life, and besides, you will enjoy the fun that it will give you.
I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BE CONCENTRATED ONLY ON THE FORMAL FACULTY.
MAKE UP IN THE WATERS OF IMPORTERITY, MAKE UP IN ANY STUDENT ORGANIZATION AND FIND YOURSELF !!!!
