The university offers a great blend of studies and leisure. The infrastructure of our campuses is world class, and the professors and students all contribute to a better experience, including the studies.

I am student of Master program information security at the Vilnius tech University. As a international students I have to talk to the international office a lot of times and they never disappointed me. They are the best at their work and resolve the students issues perfectly, they resolved mine at least. Faculty members are not very proficient in English and sometimes they can’t deliver what they want to say. I am also facing racial discrimination as I came from Asia and have dark skin. So sometimes I strongly feel that I’m not being treated equally. Besides this one issue everything is perfect.

I am very glad that I graduated from this university! During the two years of study, I acquired not only knowledge but also experience, new acquaintances, and the opportunity to realize myself in the future. The university employs highly qualified specialists. Many teachers in my department not only provide knowledge but also work in this area, which is a big plus for students.

My program is Information and Communication Technologies, it’s being taught in English just for the first time. The material is quite good, with almost no outdated information, the only problem sometimes could be that the professors are not fluent in English.

To me, Vilnius Tech is one of the leaders in building individual skills required by our society today. I am studying in the IT field, and I have encountered through our study curriculum so many real-life problems related to automation, building applications, networking, programming frameworks related to web development, back-end systems, big data, machine learning, front end design, network programming, blockchain, and a few more to go in my senior year which would be in 2022-2023
To give an opinion, I am thankful that I have chosen Vilnius Tech as higher education and I am currently working on myself to pursue my dreams.

VGTU is one of the best technical universities in Lithuania. They provide many field of studies for students and good environemnet for studies at all.

Moreover, its International office provides many opportunities to study or doing internship abroad, thus have cooperation with many international universities around the world.

Thanks to VGTU, I got a summer internship 2019 in Belgium and received good feedback there and, at the moment, I am studying in Estonia by bilateral agreement.

I especially want to note teachers staff of the department where I study. They are good specialists and share necessary experience during lectures which can be useful for the future job. Furthermore, sometimes they send us actual vacancies and give recommendations to some companies who are ready to consider students’ applications.

For me personally this university “opened a window of life”. I have met a lot of people from other countries, learned new things and got valuable life experience.
