I would highlight the strong technical education and solid engineering foundation.
Studying radio electronics engineering gave me a structured way of thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of technical systems.
It is great to have such a strong technical university in Kaunas for people who choose engineering and technology-focused careers.
With all honesty, KTU is a solid university with practical courses, modern facilities, and a friendly student vibe. It prepares you well for real jobs, and Kaunas is affordable and comfortable for students.
View moreI am currently studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology. There are both good and bad sides of this university. As for the advantages, I would say the quality of laboratories, and how the university pays attention to giving students hands-on experiences. It offers a lot of opportunities such as ED programs, which many student benefits from. Also, Talent Scholarship which it gives is a great way of motivating the students.
Regarding the disadvantages, I would say the low quality of internationality at this university. Most of the things are conducted in lithuanian and most of the things are usually for lithuanians.
Also, accomodation (dormitories) are not taken care of well.
However, overall a good university I would say.
I study Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KTU. The programme gives useful theory and practical lab work. I improve my technical skills through projects, experiments, and teamwork. Most teachers explain well and help when students ask questions. Some courses are difficult and the workload can be high. But I’d recommend it.
