While the university may be considered somewhat average overall, its standout feature lies in the diverse range of extracurricular programs it offers, contributing significantly to a vibrant campus life. The frequent organization of events adds a dynamic touch, fostering a sense of community among students. However, it’s worth noting that certain modules and lecturers might not meet the highest standards, presenting room for improvement. Despite these shortcomings, my personal affinity for the university persists, perhaps owing to its positive aspects and the overall experience it provides.

I am very satisfied with my experience studying Energy Technologies and Economics at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). The program offers a great balance between engineering/energy-related subjects and economics, which makes it very relevant for today’s job market and the future of the energy sector.

What I liked most is that the courses are well-structured and modern, covering important topics such as energy systems, sustainability, energy efficiency, and economic decision-making. Many assignments and projects are connected to real-world energy challenges, which helped me build both technical understanding and analytical skills. The program also encourages critical thinking and problem-solving, which is very valuable.

The lecturers are professional, knowledgeable, and usually very supportive. They explain complex topics clearly and are open to questions, which creates a positive learning environment. I also appreciated the international atmosphere and opportunities to collaborate with other students.

I studied as an exchange student at KTU for 5 months. The university is one of the oldest and most established universities in the country.The university gave us a warm welcome and the international office took good care of us. I’m satisfied with my education. There are lot of opportunities to improve yourself.
If you’re wondering language,there is no language barrier because everybody speaks English very well. The university also has a large number of international students.
The university has lots of dormitories which solves your accommodation situation and it offers social facilities such as ESN club, gym and special events for students.
Overall, it was a valuable and enriching experience.

It is a good university for engineering, especially in electrical engineering. I am an electrical engineering student and have spent more than two years here. The university is cooperative and provides many opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, including the chance to study additional modules and attend conferences.

The professors are excellent and supportive. Although there can sometimes be minor challenges due to language barriers and cultural differences, they are generally understanding and helpful.

Overall, the university has strong connections, a good reputation, and offers a positive learning environment.

The overall teaching methods and professors can be revamped. The system and scholarships paired with the approach of teaching from professors seem to be inclined and favoured towards european students overall, with no orientation or inclusion for international students.Everything else about the university is as good as they come.
