Student-oriented education
In Riga Stradins University the student is treated as an equal. The academic staff is excellent and always eager to help and answer questions. The relationship between a student and professor is more collegial than formal and you shouldn’t be afraid to ask questions or have a chat after the lectures. Definitely would recommend this university to anyone – either with medical aspirations or wanting to build a career in social studies. They offer study programmes in english as well, so anyone from everywhere is welcome.
