I studied Education Science (Math & Chemistry) at Kenyatta University. The university has a strong reputation in education and sciences, and I really appreciated the knowledgeable lecturers (my favorite were Dr. Isaac Chepkwony and Prof. Kennedy Awuor) and the solid foundation I got in my subjects. The campus is big and lively, with plenty of activities for students from diverse cultural backgrounds, which makes the experience richer. Like many public universities, there can sometimes be delays in administration, overcrowding in lecture halls and hostels: but overall, KU gave me a good academic background and personal growth. One minor detail I should emphasize is, you’re in for an “EduVenture” (Education+ Adventure)!
View moreI like that Kenyatta University has dedicated professors and a wide range of programs, which makes learning enriching. The campus is also beautiful and spacious, offering a good environment for study and social life. However, I dislike that administrative services can be slow and sometimes frustrating. I would recommend the university to students who are patient and value strong academics, but I think improving efficiency in student services would make the experience much better.

View moreIt was amazing, the professors were great. The school compound was extremely big and walking from one lecture hall to another was a big challenge. The long ques during meals at the mess was crazy.
There is this thing called missing marks, you could visit exam office a million times without help.
Kenyatta University is so great and beautiful in so many ways. For starters, I loved how the school offered it’s programs, following up on Lecturers to make sure they deliver. The university took studies so seriously that they would follow up on students to make sure class attendance was 70-100%.
It did provide scholarships here and there to enable one stay in school. The institution was accommodating to everyone including to with special needs.
