I really like Jkuat compared to other universities since school fee payment is so convenient since we are given a chance to pay at the end of the semester before exams other places you are supposed to clear the fees before the first month ends leading to lots of dropouts.I genuinely fancy this about my university.
View moreMy experience at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) was both enriching and rewarding. The university is renowned for its focus on innovation and technology, providing a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical knowledge. With a diverse range of programs, JKUAT nurtures students in fields like engineering, agriculture, IT, and business, equipping them with the skills necessary for the competitive job market.
The institution fosters a research-driven culture, encouraging students to engage in problem-solving initiatives that address real-world challenges. The well-resourced facilities, coupled with experienced faculty, offer a conducive learning environment. Moreover, JKUAT’s active involvement in community development and collaboration with industry partners gives students a unique advantage through internships and hands-on training opportunities.
While the university has a lot to offer, there is room for improvement in administrative efficiency and campus infrastructure. Overall, JKUAT has provided me with invaluable academic and professional experiences, setting me on a path of growth and career success.
JKUAT triggers exceptional emotions when I remember my 4 years stay over there. I got to learn from top mathematics professors and A-class learners. However, the institution could flood when it rains.
View moreJKUAT is a splendid university offering diverse programmes in various fields. The student culture is rich and one feels included in all activities .i would recommend the institution for engineering, statistics and analytical courses
View moreJkuat is an outstanding university. It has excellent infrastructure and facilitates up-to-date learning. The students are extremely nice which makes your stay at Jkuat very enjoyable. The university is away from the busy Nairobi City so the students have a conducive environment to go about their studies.
View moreThe serene environment creates a good mood for the studies throughout the entire time. The beautiful modern structures with elevators make the classes easily accessible to both the physically challenged students and all the staff on the campus. There are thorough security checks, especially at the point of entrance and this ensures that we are safe as students.
View moreJKUAT is a laid back university, in my opinion, that provides quality education in most areas but other than that there are limited activities to engage in. Yes, it has a large green space but for me, it has its limits because not everyone finds joy and pleasure in exploring nature. Am that person. While its locality isn’t far away from the City, the nearest urban centres offer nothing much.
View moreJKUAT is a huge university both in terms of the number of students and geographical area. I can’t group all the courses together but from experience as a student in actuarial science, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in studying here. The student life outside studies is generally average you have to go out of your way to have and experience fun otherwise the mood can sulk. There are quite a number of international students at the university so if you are an exchange student you won’t be all alone.
