Moi University has faced criticism over perceived tribal imbalance in the allocation of school jobs. Many students and staff have expressed concerns that employment opportunities tend to favor individuals from specific communities, particularly in administrative and departmental roles. This trend undermines the principles of equality, fairness, and national cohesion. It also discourages qualified individuals from other tribes who may feel marginalized or overlooked. Addressing this issue requires transparent recruitment processes and deliberate efforts to promote diversity. A fair representation of all Kenyan communities would not only enhance unity but also foster a more inclusive and productive learning and working environment
