-I like The university’s way of engaging students on matters affecting their lives, Continuously trying to improve the coursework and equipping students with skills and competencies required to acquire jobs in the the competitive outside environment
-I dislike the university’s attitudes towards poor students who at times failed to clear school fees on times to sit for semester exams.

One of the things I will always remember about my time at Moi University is the low cost of living( especially food). The University is located in Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu County where farming is the main economic activity for the locals. Here food is being sold at a favourable price for the comrades living outside the school facilities. For instance, comrades could spend the US $0.5 to the US $1 on food. Additionally, rents are also favourable for comrades at an average cost of US $30 per month. So this is the best University for comrades having financial problems. Meals are also being served at the institution’s cafeterias at a subsidized price; one is located amid the famous Soweto Hostel, the other is located at the student centre and the other one is located at the school of engineering.

Moi University Eldoret is one of a kind when it comes to evaluating how students perform and respond to feedback. This is done by their class lecturers who collect every information from the students. In those evaluations, lecturers tend to understand our needs and work on our weaknesses. Teachers always do thorough assessments and give constructive feedback to our students.

Moi university, being one of the oldest universities in Kenya, offers quality education. There is a long list of programs you can choose from and once you have fulfilled the criteria for selecting your life will be transformed. You can always check the university’s website for the intake periods and programs you can do. It’s quite easy to navigate the website and register everything through there. Despite it being located in the western region of Kenya it’s in quite a nice area. There is a very nice modern town known as Eldoret a few kilometres’ from the main campus. You can alternatively choose from a variety of campuses across the country where you can choose to study from but this is limited to the Programs offered in that campus

Moi University is internationally recognized for its involvement in world affairs such as in the needs of students and their communities, businesses, industries, and the governments. I love the university for the way it is at the forefront to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to counter rising poverty levels in the country. This is a nice university to take your studies from as it incorporates both blended and on-campus modes of studying.

Moi University is one of the oldest universities in Kenya. I love Moi University – I’m getting taught by amazing professors doing leading research in their fields, and get to live in a serene environment as it is located in quite a tropical region with a very active student life. It is really easy to interact and make friends with fellow students. The negatives involve its location its quite a distance from the nearest City Eldoret hence may be difficult for international students to consider it.
