UWI has a great Tourism Management programme, however, the program consisted of mainly theory based courses and not much hands-on experiences until you got to your final year. I think it was a great program nonetheless for students looking to pursue a career in tourism. I was able to land a job straight of completion of my degree.

If I had known what I was in for before applying to this university, I would have taken my money and gone somewhere else. The school puts on a front of being prestigious and the university of choice in Jamaica. However, once you’re there, you’ll notice the level of disorganization and total disregard for the best interests of its students. Totally ruined my university experience.
