The Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna is one of the oldest universities in Italy. Built in 1088, it has offered thousands of Italian and international students the opportunity to receive a high-quality education with great privileges. Over the years, its courses of study have not only increased but even multiplied. Today my university offers more than 200 courses. Among them, it offers bachelor’s, master’s, and single-cycle courses. I also offer courses in Italian, English and even Spanish and French classes. Its main university is located in the city of Bologna, but in relation to the numerous courses of study now present, its campuses are expanding to more than 5 cities around Bologna.
I am enrolled in a Master’s programme in Protection of Human Rights and International Cooperation, at a campus in the city of Ravenna. it is a new course, taught in English, international, and with topics of current interest for a future career in NGOs and the protection of human rights around the world.
Personally, I consider the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna to be a university made for young Italians but also for young people from all over the world. it is a university in step with the times and always in favor of change when it offers high benefits to its students and future students.
A great advantage of the University of Bologna is the number of scholarships and temporary work opportunities it offers its students according to their family economic situation. I consider this fundamental in order to guarantee the right to an education for as many young people as possible.
I would recommend this university to any young person who wants to embark on a current, interactive, interesting, and high-quality course of study.
